Patrick Swayze has died :(

"Patrick Swayze has died after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.

The Dirty Dancing star was diagnosed with the disease early 2008.

"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenge of his illness for the last 20 months," his publicist said.

A host of Hollywood stars paid tribute to Swayze, including his Dirty Dancing co-star, Jennifer Grey.

She said, "He was fearless and insisted on always doing his own stunts, so it was not surprising to me that the war he waged on his cancer was so courageous and dignified."

The film's choreographer, Kenny Ortega, said, "Patrick was a great human being who I knew as a loving son, husband, brother and friend. He was one of the most creative, enjoyable and alive people I knew. He did as much for dancing as any man of our generation.

Demi Moore, who he starred with in Ghost, posted on her Twitter page, "Patrick, you are loved by so many and your light will forever shine in all of our lives."

Swayze continued to work right up to his death, and was last seen on screen in the US TV show The Beast."

Woke up hearing that on the radio this morning:(

Want something else like X-Files, I know MORE X-Files! hehe.

I enjoyed it alot, the wierd, wacky and paranormal.
I guess I will have to order more C.S.I. hehe.

We still have the Sarah Connor Chronicles to watch and the rest of Blood Ties. I also started on Angel again.

True blood

Mum reminded me to watch this and I'm glad I did. It's like an adult Buffy!

It's fast paced and shocking, enough to keep me glued to the telly, oh and yes theres vampires too lol.

Their teeth are more nosferatu than Angel, takes a little getting used to.

The leads are Sookie Stackhouse, a waitress in a roadhouse restaurant and also a telepath and Bill Compton a vampire born in the mid 19th century.
It is based on the The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris.

The vampires "came out of the coffin" on national TV a couple of years earlier. They now live openly in society, because the Japanese have invented a synthetic blood that is sold in convenience stores everywhere as "True Blood."

The vampires themselves are considered kinda exotic, and there are "fang bangers" of both sexes who long to have sex with them. Also their blood is considered a drug and is sort after by some humans.
